A. K. Bilge Turan is a pen name; the true identity behind it remains a secret, in the shadow of the universe the author has built. What his work shall be called he leaves to time and to the reader; he himself names this vein — where Turkic myth meets speculative fiction — only “Turkic Futurism” (Turkofütürizm). He wields his pen like a tool that graves the philosophical possibilities in the depths of the cosmos and of human nature.
At the centre of his writing stands the Root-Order: the silent mathematics and mercy of the universe. He melts the cold reason of science and the ancient compassion of faith in one crucible; he builds a universe where man faces his own pride and takes his free will back into his own hands.
